Estate Planning:

Working together to help you prepare and plan

Thinking about what will happen to your loved ones and estate upon your passing is a difficult thing to do.  It usually is something that we also put off doing.  Let's work together so I can help guide you to focus on writing down what your intentions are for your loved ones regarding your estate assets.  Many people are also not aware that legal documents can help assist you during your lifetime.  Legal documents can be drafted to declare your medical care intentions or designate who you authorize to help you handle your finances if you are unable to do so yourself.  By working together we can help you prepare and make your estate and lifetime plans.

Resume

 Wills

Do you need a Will?  The State of Texas will direct how your probate estate will be distributed if you do not have a Will when you pass.  It is best for you to draft your own Will if you would like to decide who will be your beneficiaries and how your probate estate will be handled.  Let me help you draft your intentions and explain the legalities of proper Will drafting.

Directive Documents

Directive to Physicians "Living Will," Medical Power of Attorney, and HIPAA Disclosures are all additional documents that I can help draft for you to further inform your medical team, loved ones, and family members of your intentions regarding your medical care.

A Power of Attorney is a document that can help manage your financial matters whenever you are unable to handle them on your own.  A Designation of Guardianship Appointment for a Minor is your declaration of who you would like to care for your child or children.  A Designation of Guardianship for an Adult is your declaration of who you would like to care for you if you are no longer are able to do so yourself.

Let's work together to so that I can help you learn more about what each of these documents can do for you.
